Hi, I'm the webmaster for this unofficial site. I created the web site in 1997. I'm sure this is one of the original Web sites dedicated to Westmar after its closing.
Obviously, "David Burton" is a pseudonym. The pseudonym allows me to hide who I am.
As a Westmar College alum, I wanted a web presence as soon as the college closed lest Westmar College be forgotten. I enjoyed my years at Westmar and in Northwest Iowa.
This web site is my gift to an institution that gave me so much, that introduced me to life-long friends, and that has impacted this nation with its many graduates, especially based on its reputation as a teacher / preacher college.
My time on the Gleam staff and as its editor influenced my occupational choices after Westmar College. For that, I am grateful.

Unfortunately, due to spammers, the guestbook had to be shut down.However, the results from the poll have recently been updated. The new updates are in PDF format. I noticed a striking difference between the emotion responses and the best moment responses, even though both were written by the same poll respondents. I rearranged the comments so that no one could compare what was said in the emotions and the best moment responses as the same person.
